DryvIQ (formerly SkySync), the leading unstructured data protection platform company, today announced it has promoted Sean Nathaniel to CEO. Nathaniel, who joined DryvIQ in February 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, is succeeding Mark Brazeau who becomes the company’s Board Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer.

“Mark is a tremendous force in re-imagining the unstructured data management space – building DryvIQ’s technology into today’s industry-leading position. We are deeply grateful and excited to have Mark expand his strategic role, applying his vision to our long-term initiatives,” said Kevin Terrasi, Board-member, investor, and partner at Plymouth Growth. “As we move full-throttle into the high-growth phase of this organization we are delighted to have Sean step into the CEO role, bringing his extensive experience of scaling businesses, delivering enterprise class solutions to market and developing long-lasting client relationships.”

As CEO, Nathaniel will be responsible for accelerating growth and scale of the company, and overall operations – driving its vision of empowering enterprises to safeguard the holy grail of enterprise security, unstructured data.

“Sean’s deep experience scaling organizations and providing enterprise clients with high-impact technology solutions to complex data challenges makes him the ideal leader to elevate DryvIQ to the next level,” said Mark Brazeau, Founder and Board Chairman of DryvIQ. “I’m ecstatic to work hand-in-hand with him in this next phase of high-growth.”

“I joined DryvIQ earlier this year because I could see the transformative strategy and proven, scalable platform to one of the most important data risk challenges of our time – comprehensively protecting company sensitive information,” said Nathaniel, CEO of DryvIQ. “I am thrilled to be a part of this industry-defining moment and to lead the company toward accomplishing our mission; where all enterprise data – is detected, classified and protected.”

Nathaniel joined DryvIQ as a highly successful executive with deep operating and scaling experience in high-growth software organizations. Having served in roles in both public and private companies, he has demonstrated measurable results – growing software organizations to well over $300m in annual revenues. Prior to joining DryvIQ, Nathaniel most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for CS DISCO (NYSE: LAW), and prior to that as Chief Technology Officer for Upland Software, Inc.
